PRO-ZA Balkan is:

- A traditional manifestation of the best Balkan prosaists to be organized for the third time in our country.

- Six eminent authors of Balkans prose shall personally introduce themselves before the Macedonian cultural audience.

- This year, the selector shall feature a prominent Macedonian author and his/her work.

- A number of eminent world publishers, agents and managers of a renowned literature festival shall attend the "Skopje Fellowship" programme.

- The topic of this year’s round table is "Literature, Boundaries, Audience"

- PRO-ZA Balkan is a festival of the written word, of its worth and importance in the contemporary world, particularly in the Balkans.

- The festival establishes bridges between the Balkan and Macedonian writers, between the European factors in the world of publishing and the Macedonian publishers, between the world of the book and the Macedonian readers.
