“SKOPJE FELLOWSHIP" PROGRAM
Foreing publishers, festival directors and programme managers, literary agents and scouts – visiting PRO-ZA Balkan “Skopje Fellowship” programme is dedicated to foreign publishers, festival directors and programme managers, literary agents and scouts. The Festival is among the first in the region to establish a programme dedicated to such a profile of guests, and continues with the same intensity. The objective of the Fellowship Programme is to familiarize the stakeholders of the prominent festivals and the world of publishers with our literary scene, which, we hope, would result in new translations, visits of writers abroad, promotion of the literature, networking of writers and cultural workers in the area of publishing and literature with their European and worldwide colleagues...

AURÉLIE BONTOUT-ROCHE
Aurélie Bontout-Roche is the translations manager for the french Libella publishing group (Buchet-Chastel, Phebus, Delpire and Co, Les Cahiers dessinés) and has worked in publishing for almost 20 years. Passionate about literature, translation, languages and travel, she divides her time between Paris and Brussels.
MAURO SPAGNOL
Mauro Spagnol is an Italian born, living in London.
I have worked since 2001 in publishing first at Quarto Publishing and then at Michel O’Mara Books. In 2020 I opened my own agency called Books-Everywhere, representing European publishers for their unique style, content, and approach. I have always loved children’s books and the focus is to promote various cultural backgrounds around the world. In 2022 we won the Right Connection Award in Sharjah.
JÖRG SUNDERMEIER
Jörg Sundermeier was born in Gütersloh in 1970. He lives in Berlin. He runs Verbrecher Verlag with Kristine Listau (which he co-founded in 1995) and is a writer for various newspapers and magazines.
His most recent books are "Die Sonnenallee" (2016) and "11 Berlin Cemeteries You Must See Before You Die" (2017).
Jörg Sundermeier is a member of the board of PEN Berlin.
NIKA MUŠIČ
Nika Mušič (1990) holds an MA in Comparative Literature and a BA in Slovene Studies from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Following her academic pursuits, she conducted research as an intern at the Margarida Losa Institute for Comparative Literature in Porto, Portugal. In the field of publishing, she has been involved in various roles, including as a project assistant and coordinator in the area of reading culture and promoting reading, as a literary critic, proofreader, and editor. She has collaborated with various Slovene publishing houses thus far. Currently, she is an editor at KUD Sodobnost International, where she edits translated fiction and literary reviews of children's literature for the oldest Slovene literary magazine, Sodobnost.
ANDREA GENTILE
Andrea Gentile has been the editorial director of Il Saggiatore since 2014. Among his books: I vivi e i morti (minimum fax, 2018) and Apparizioni (nottetempo, 2020).
ROBERTO DOMÍNGUEZ MORO
Roberto Domínguez Moro (Salamanca, Spain, 1981) is an agent for A.C.E.R., the longest-established literary agency in Spain. He has been dealing with international books of all genres for their translation into Spanish and Portuguese for 15 years and runs a catalogue of Spanish authors for their translation worldwide. He attends the London and the Frankfurt Book Fairs regularly since 2009 and was given a fellowship for the Seoul Book Fair in 2022. Holds a degree in Economics and a post-degree in Book Publishing.
MARIA ANGELA FERRARI
Maria Angela Ferrari is an experienced Acquisition and Sales Manager with 19 years’ experience in Publishing, specialized in Foreign Rights. Having worked on several international markets, I have made many good contacts, and covering different roles has taught me how to prioritize.
Since August 2018 I am working at Sassi Editore – Publisher, as International Sales & Export Director
